Planescape: Torment was an expansive and extremely ambitious project lauded by players and critics alike. It took place in the Planescape world scenario from Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, which was a departure from the high fantasy games like Baldur’s Gate and Icewind Dale. It was remastered for new computers in 2017 and is available to play on all major platforms. A spiritual successor, Torment: Tides of Numenera was released in 2017 as well.
